Thomas K. McGuin Sr.
Thomas K. McGuin, Sr., 63, of Osceola, died Wednesday November 23, 2016 at Memorial Hospital of South Bend. The Logansport native was born December 21, 1952 to John and Jeanne (Morris) McGuin. On October 8, 1983, Tom married Michelle (Suka) McGuin in Ss. Peter and Paul Orthodox Church in South Bend. He was the owner of McGuin Pro Lawn Care and member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church, where he served as a Lector. A simple man who was devoted to his faith, Tom cherished the time spent with family & friends, and enjoyed their cottage at Fletcher Lake. An avid football fan, especially Notre Dame; he also liked playing fantasy football and truly enjoyed coaching Rocket Football. Tom is survived by Michelle, his wife of 33 years; their children, Thomas McGuin, Jr., John McGuin, Cara (Ben) Burkett and Aaron McGuin, all of Mishawaka; his sisters, Kathleen (Chuck) Acton of The Villages, FL and Maureen (Don) Bobay of Bristol, and his brothers, Michael (Melanie) McGuin of Monticello and Timothy (Sharon) McGuin of Huntington. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 Tuesday November 29 in Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 4508 Vistula Road, Mishawaka, IN 46544, where friends may call for one hour prior to Mass. Interment in Southlawn Cemetery. Arrangements through Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Hwy. The family’s preferred memorial is Queen of Peace Catholic Church.
